No stored passwords
DigiGhost never asks for a platform password; you type it into the platform. To read accessible comment history and run the deletions you approve, it temporarily handles the authenticated session that login creates. With the local-docker executor, that session is encrypted at rest with a key unique to the job, decrypted only in memory while work is running, and destroyed when the job finishes or is purged.

What is DigiGhost?
DigiGhost reads the official data export you download from a platform and turns it into a plain, reviewable list of the comments you have left in public.

Do I have to give you my password?
No. DigiGhost never asks for a platform password.
You request an official export from the platform itself, then bring that file here.
How long does it take to get my export?
Platforms typically take 24–48 hours to prepare an archive and email you the download link.
That wait is on their side, not ours. Once the file is in hand, the review itself is quick.
Does my whole archive get uploaded?
No. Your browser trims the export before anything is sent. An Instagram archive is roughly 1.4% comment data, and the photos, videos, and DMs are never uploaded.
If the trim cannot run on a file, that file is skipped rather than sent whole.
Can I search someone else?
No. DigiGhost works on exports you are authorised to download, for accounts you control.
It is not a background check, an identity-verification service, or a people-search tool.
Will this remove every copy of something?
No, and anyone who promises that is lying to you. Deletion reaches supported platforms and the items you approved, on a best-effort basis.
Screenshots, reposts, quotes, third-party archives, and search-engine caches are outside any tool’s reach.
